Blue Cheese

'Could you finish up that cheese A.S.A.P? It's stinking up the whole house'

'It's not smelly at all - I don't smell anything'

Hahahaha! Yes, I'm crazy about blue cheese. I know how my previous post was about having a stinky housemate, but my blue cheese has better smell than she... >.< hee..

The first time I smelled the stuff, I honestly nearly fainted. I still remember clearly my mum was screaming at my brother for buying some kind of rotten cheese. But trying new stuff is what I was known for, so after trying the cheese for the first time, I swore I would never eat that awful stuff again! It wasn't until I saw my brother enjoying every bite of his cracker spread with blue cheese that I braved myself to try it again. It actually wasn't so bad, I ended up eating a few crackers with the cheese!

Recently, I was craving for this rotten-smell cheese again. I was having dinner with friends and when I saw blue cheese cubes on my friend's salad, I was once again hooked with it. I bought blue cheese the next day and had myself cracker with blue cheese as my tea time and supper >.<"

I know I'm not suppose to have cheese for supper, but I just can't get it off my head. I just have to have it, HAHA!

I guess in a few days I will regret for eating too much of this cheese when I weigh myself on the machine.. sigh.. Why must good things have to end somehow.. T__T

New Year MMXI

New Year!

For the year 2011, my resolution is to be a better person.

First and foremost, I want to be someone who is NOT tempermental. I've got into lots of trouble with that especially with those I care so much about. I guess that's the first thing that I should address. I've always thought myself as a rational person, but I guess when someone who cares about you tells you otherwise, there's got to be something wrong.

Secondly, I need to get rid all of the negativity that's been revolving around me these past few years! I need to learn to see things in a different manner, a more positive manner. Sometimes things aren't as bad as how we thought it is, we just need to hang on a little longer for the good part to arrive.

And for 2011, I've promised myself to not make you cry ever again. You're making an effort - I see that and I am making it too 'cause it'll be a shame to lose what we are having now. We are two totally different people who happened to find each other in the funniest way and can't help to fall in love.

What Business is Blooming Now?

A few years back in 1908, it was Henry Ford's Model T that launched the trillion-dollar automobile industry. While in 1981, IBM's PC launched the trillion-dollar personal computer industry. This industry grew so fast that PC sales surpassed U.S auto sales in only ten years.[1]

You might be wondering which industry today that has same impact as the personal computer industry or maybe better. It has arrived. For the last two years people are actively talking about it. It hit the world like a giant tsunami. In 2008 alone, consumer spent $600 billion on it and it was expected then to increase to trillion dollars in the next 5 years - and you can be part of it!

People nowadays are more conscious about their health, their wellness and their beauty as compared to ten years ago. Many are beginning to realize the importance of good nutrition and exercise. Nowadays, people are looking for ways to stay healthy and young. You'd be surprise how much people would spend just to delay the aging process.

Due to these health trends, billions of dollars are spent annually by consumers on nutritional supplements and wellness products in search of prevention and relief of symptoms of diseases as well as aging. In order to feel good, look good, stay young and healthy, consumers are looking for more and more quality products.

As a result, the wellness revolution has began; the birth of the new trillion-dollar industry - the Health and Wellness Industry.

Due to increasing demand on the health and wellness products, there's a huge financial opportunity in store for supply and trading entrepreneurs.

People just like you are cashing in on the billions of dollars being spent by consumers on health-promoting products. What if you could also make money helping people promote wellness and prevent diseases? Would that interest you?

The wellness revolution is just getting started. There's still time to get in on the ground floor and make your fortune in the health and wellness industry. In the coming years, this business can offer even greater financial opportunities for entrepreneurs.

If you act now, you can still strategically position yourself to take part in one of the biggest economic booms of the century!

Have you been looking for the next big, ground-floor opportunity? Act now and catch the wave of the future -- Join the Wellness Revolution! [2]

Opportunity

Lately I've been focusing on my business and so far it's been good and satisfactory. This is the first business that I really put my 110% effort on, and I'm glad that I took the decision to join in the first place.

Tho the first few weeks were slow and non-progressing, but as time passes, with friends' and clients' positive feedback, I was able to get my business going at the pace I hoped for. I did not expect to see back my capital the first few months, but within less than a month, I got back my capital with some extra profit. I was really happy that I tried to roll back in my capital and again, I got them back along with the profit in just a few weeks. As time passes, the business gets better.

But sadly, many of my friends whom I approached ran the 100m sprint the instant I talked about making money. It's not that I want to take their money for my own usage. I know how hard to earn money. I know how stress a person could be when they got cheated and lost a large sum of money. For the last few months before I got to know this business, I worked my ass off just to get a RM 800++ pay per month. I paid my rent, my bills and spend on food and transportation, what's left at the end of the month was ZERO and sometimes, NEGATIVE.

I've experienced what hard-earned cash means, I work on my project 9am to 5pm then I go for part-time jobs at night on weekdays, and on weekends I go out working. Everyday I was tired, grumpy and stressed out. I have no time to go out and meet up with friends. Even my friends that came all the way from Russia I did not manage to go out and meet up for yam cha because of my commitment to my work.

With no more scholarship offered and with just RM800++ pay per month, I find it hard to survive on my own, what more in a big city as Kuala Lumpur. When the opportunity to join the business came to me, I was as skeptical as usual. It took me weeks to think about it because I did not have extra money to spend on it. At first I shared with my friend to start the business because deep down in me, I see the potential of the business and I did not want to miss that opportunity.

With my money all invested in the business, I honestly did not have a cent to pay my bills and rent for the month. I was scared, nervous and stressed. But, deep down I was confident that I can get them back, and more. Before the month ended, I managed to triple up what I invested on and rolled in back the capital and I managed to get more profit from then on.

In my previous post, I talked about 'good things are meant to be shared', in this post, I would still want to emphasize how strong that quote is to me - my principle in life. I still do not understand those who want to earn money, willing to work their ass off for a mere rm 80/day for just a week, and find another part time job the next month, but they are not willing to listen to an opportunity that is in front of them. What's more, they think it's a scam or something like that.

Everyone who wants money started with no money in their savings. It's up to that person to take the step to change his life. I too had no money to start off this business, I used my rental n bills money to start it and because I want to have more money, I invested in this business and now I see the profit and how grateful I am today that I made the right choice.

I read a book called "The Key" by Joe Vitale, what attracted my attention was 'The Universe likes speed'. From now on, I'm gonna grab any good opportunities that comes my way a.s.a.p and let nothing be an excuse for me not to grab it. I believe that we are responsible to how we want our life to be. It's only a matter of willingness. If we are willing to change ourselves.

Good Things are Meant to be Shared

Up till now, I still believe in the above quote. Any sane person would never want to share a bad thing unless he/she did not know it was a bad thing to start with. But if one heard or used a good thing, it's in their nature to tell people about it.

I am like that as well, I get so excited after I tried something new and it happened to be nice. Even when an article is good, you tend to click the 'like' button or the 'share' button because you want to share the information with people you think who would benefit from it.

If I intended to lie to you or to trick you into joining something that may cause you harm or even maybe death (who knows), then by all means I deserved to be talked about in a bad way or even to be cursed upon for my selfish and thoughtless acts. But all I was thinking was how I could help you. I never forced you to do anything except for showing some support and in return you will gain priceless information and maybe it could help you change your ways a bit, to be a better person.

But who are you to talk about something that you do not even understand? What input or knowledge do you have on this thing that suddenly makes you an expert in telling people what is it all about when you yourself never been or attended the seminar yourself? If you don't want to give yourself a chance then that's fine, but why discourage others from giving themselves chances in their life?

Anyways, if you think my influence on you is bad, every messages I convey to you are lies and every good intentions I have in mind are corrupted intentions, then I have nothing more to say, except that I hope you all the happiness and contentment you deserved from your daily prosaic, mundane and never-changing life.

Spain vs Nedherlands Prediction

Tomorrow (July 12, 2.30 a.m. Malaysian time) will be the time where people from all over the world would sit in front of their telly to watch the final match of the World Cup 2010. It can be seen that Spain is the favourite team in this match. Even the so-called octopus psychic predicted the Spaniards would win the World cup.

So far, I watched few of the videos on how the octopus predict the next upcoming match - it always goes to the nearest box. If it is on the right side of the aquarium, it'll pick the box on the right. That's all I'm saying, I'm a bit skeptical on this matter. hurm~~

Anyways, it seems like after the wide-spread news on this psychic octopus, many people claimed that their pet could predict the match as well! Another wide spread news on a psychic pet comes from a neigbouring country - Singapore. The owner claimed that like the octopus, his parakeet predicted that Spain would win the semi-final match against Germany.

What is interesting tho, is that for the final match, while the octopus predicted the Spaniards, the parakeet predicted the Dutch to win the World Cup! This is a match I gotta watch with eyes wide open through out the game.

The bird or the octopus? We'll see it tomorrow - who has the better psychic powers.

-------- U.P.D.A.T.E (12/07/10) --------

The final match between Spain and Netherlands was indeed a game that no one should have missed. Was is fated that the Netherlands were to lose on this match? Although there were many incredible chances for the Netherlands to score a goal or two, it just seemed that despite how hard they tried, it was not meant to be.

The last minute goal by Iniesta (116' a.e.t) was indeed incredible. It happened at the right moment where everyone expected there will be penalty kicks, but instead a sure victory for the Spaniard that left no time for the Dutch to even the score. It was a perfect timing.

I am happy that for once Spain won a World Cup title and they deserved it! And it's hard to say this but here goes - Paul the Octopus was correct. Sigh.

Changes

I might seem distance and my mind might seem to be somewhere else, but I assure you I am fine. Yes, I do think a lot and sometimes I think too far till it looks as if I am mad or sad, but as a matter of fact, I am actually fine.

Yes, I tend to worry a lot on things that may or may not happen in the future. I know it is not a good thing to do - wasting ones energy to worry on things that one doesn't even know if it might happen or not. It is quite hard for me to change the way I am in this matter, but for now, I am trying to be the best I can, to not worry and think a lot. It might take me a while to make my brain reduce its tendency to process and analyse every small details it gets, but I promise you, I will.

I can see that in a way, bit by bit you're changing your way too. As bad as I am in comforting people, I am also bad in showing my appreciation especially in a face-to-face situation. I might seem like I do not realise you're changing and I might seem to be not effected by it, but truth be told, I am very happy to see the things you do and to hear the things you say. I am elated, but maybe I'm just too cool to show how it makes me feel ^_^"

Thank you for the effort, I promise it won't be in vain. I'll appreciate it till the very end.

I'm sorry I can't be...

As much as I hate to admit it, I'm no where near to being the person that's right for you.

I'm sorry that I can't be the one to put a smile on your face,
I'm sorry that I can't be the one whom you want to embrace,
I'm sorry that I can't be the person that you love,
I'm sorry, but I've lost all hope.

Love.Hope. and Faith.

I have loved,
but I've lost and ran out of it.
I hoped,
only to be crushed and broken.
Faith - I've lost it along the way,
and now I'm aimlessly wandering,
to an end that has long passed me.

This is a story of a b.i.t.c.h

I'm about to explode!

"Wah, I was so bored the whole day. All I did was sleep and did nothing. "

Ugh, I hate that bitch! If you were bored and had nothing to do, you could at least clean the house that you never clean, wash the dishes that you used and placed in the sink, or better yet, clean the toilet that you always left your shit in!

You complained about your friend who stayed with you last time that she never cleaned the house, never cleaned the toilet, switch on the air-conditioner 24/7 and used the things you bought. I pitied you when I heard your story and I was glad that you moved in 'cause from what I heard, you are particular about cleanliness and does not waste electricity on air-conditioners and things like that.

But from what I see, after half a year staying with you, you never cleaned the house although you made the mess, you never cleaned up after you cook, you leave you leftover food that you know you wont eat anymore on the kitchen counter, switch on two air-conditioners full blast at one time and use the things I bought for my own consumption!

And worst, you leave your shit in the toilet bowl and does nothing about it!

After someone shitted, it is a norm to make sure that no shit were left in the bowl. But I guess norm for you is to see how much shit you can accumulate in the bowl.

And I'm not as rich as you, where you can simply take out 10K from your account to buy what ever things you want. And even if you do not take out the 10K, there are people willing to take out their money to buy what ever things you want. Since I'm not that rich, even little and non-expensive things are considered expensive for me.

I know that you use 1 scoop or at most 2 scoops of my detergent, I know for most people it's not much considering you only use it twice a week; but adding salt to injury, with that non-functioning minute brain of yours, your hang your wet clothes in between all my dried clothes! For goodness sake, can't you at least push my dried clothes to one side and the hang up your wet clothes at the other side? Because of that brain of yours, my clothes became wet and stinks! At least when you weren't at home and I need to hang my clothes, I would push yours aside or put it in that filthy room of yours that you never cleaned!

And don't think everybody is like you. Doesn't mean you never clean the house, I never too. Everytime I'm at home I will clean the house and if I have time, I'll clean the bathroom too. And for you to walk about the living room with your dirty sandals that you wore to goodness knows where and make a mess in the toilet is simply beyond acceptable!

I hate that I need to tell you everything, from cleaning your shit to not to wear your dirty sandals in the house. You're all grown up, you should be able to think and I don't think I could stand it any longer. If I need to tell you one more thing face to face, that would be the time where you will see me explode totally!

I can't wait for you to move out of my life, bitch!

Reading

Books - that used to be the thing that I use to smack any creepy crawlies on the table or throw at any annoying cats and dogs that can’t stop meowing and barking; the heavier the better! Nah, I’m just kidding. Reading was never my thing; to me books were just pieces of papers compiled together printed with words that kept on appearing over and over again. For example in this paragraph, you can see the word that appeared six times! Haha, I know it’s a stupid justification on why I don’t like to read. Well, except for comics of course. I keep my comics in a special place in my room and I arrange them neatly. I just love reading those damn things. And I’d freak out if I find one of my collections is missing. But all that was before I heard my brother told me a story.

One day my brother told me he read a book and how he could feel the characters and he was deeply affected by it and the way he told the story was as if he was in it himself! I took the book and flipped the pages. What-?! No drawings? All words? I just looked at him and inside I was amazed how this silly book could make him happy, sad, excited, and burst out laughing. Then he told me that I should read it so that I could feel what he felt. I flipped the pages again and I turned to the last page. What the hell?! Over a hundred pages?! – Great.

I began reading the book and as I was reading, I started to feel something. I see what I was reading! I was the character. I felt myself at the beach, I saw this guy named Ray with his brown curly hair and brown eyes, I live in a big mansion overlooking the sea. Wow. I feel and see all these just by reading? I can’t believe I can read books without pictures! I continued reading pages after pages until I saw a familiar page – oh no, it’s the last page!

That was how I fell in love with reading. Since then I would ask my mum to drop me off to the library every weekend so that I could read and borrow some books to read. Ah, I could spend the whole day there just searching for a good book to read and find some quiet spot to enjoy it. The library was the place to be for me up till I finished high school. Ever since I entered college, the mall became the place ‘cause no one among my friends would waste their time in a building filled with books. *sigh*

After college, I entered uni and I was excited when I saw a big library building situated right in the middle of campus. Alas, all the books there were academicals, just not my cup of tea. My reading materials became less and so did my free time. At one point, I stopped reading fictions altogether and all I read was about how to calculate energy, how to do mass transfer, how to design a control system, how this, how that. Arghhhh! My brain failed to absorb any of the materials and all the how tos lasted only till the final exam. But if you ask me about the fictions I read years ago, ah, I could tell you the story as if it was fresh from the oven.

A few months back I remembered the book that first fell in love with. I wanted so much to read it and I kept talking about it to my friend. She then told me find it at e-books. I tried, but I failed. I don’t know what string she pulled or what magic she used, she managed to download the books from e-books! I started to read it day and night until all six books were finished in less than a week. I was on my laptop all day n night reading chapters after chapters. God, if only I am this focus and attentive with my academical books! *sigh*.

Although I’ve read the books before, I’m still in love with it and the impact I had the first time I read was still the same. This book, if you are wondering is none other than The Last Vampire by Christopher Pike. I just can’t get enough of it, I love all six volumes of it and I can read all six over and over again and never get bored. I’m crazy about his books. I’ve read most of his books and I love them all.

*sigh* I should stop here. There are piles of how tos books I need to read now. I wish I’m a 5000-year-old vampire tho so I can speed read and have a photographic memory just like Sita. That would make my life easier~ . OK, ok back to reality now. Books, journals, articles… die……

A simple "No."

Few years back I had a conversation with a friend of mine about how he confessed to a girl he liked. I find the way he confessed was funny and lame at the same time, but that’s not the point I’m getting in to. In the middle of the conversation, I asked him;

“If you’re in a relationship, will you fight for the girl?”

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“Em, like… If some other guy likes your girl and she likes him back, will you fight to be with her?”

His reply was short. “No.”

“Haaaa? How come? Let’s say you’ve been with her for years. You’ll let her go just like that?” I was looking at him in disbelief and trying to understand who in their right mind will answer no to that question. He then said, “If she chooses him instead of me after all we’ve been through, then what more can I do?”

At that moment I just looked at him in wonderment. This guy is talking crap. He won’t even stand up to fight for someone he loves. What an idiot.

I never did understood what he meant by his answer until one day I watched a movie - yes, I’m a movie freak, I would dream about movies that I like in my sleep for days if the movie deeply affected me. I know, I know, it’s lame. Anyways, back to the movie that I watched, it was about falling for someone at first sight, following what your heart tells you, how the guy lets the girl go so she can be happier and all that crap. When the movie ended, I remembered the conversation I had with my friend years ago. So this was what he meant. But I was skeptical. This is a movie; of course anything can happen in movies. Still not believing any normal person can be like that, I asked another friend the same question. The answer too was “No.”

Suddenly, it got me thinking and I realized that all these while it was me – I was the idiot. I never understood it because I was too selfish. I was too self-absorb that I neglect the feelings of the other person. In my head I wanted to fight for it because it was what I want. I failed to understand it the first time around. And now, it’s like I was hit by a revelation. I see it now.

Who am I to stand in the way of someone’s happiness? Who am I to stop two people from falling in love? What right do I have to prevent someone from getting the love they deserve? And… How can I stand to watch someone I love hurting and suffocating inside due to my selfishness?

Ah, the truth – it really does hurt. But I suppose it’s better to know rather than being ignorant in this matter. George Sand (1804-1876) once wrote ‘There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved’. He was right when he wrote that, to be loved by someone that you love is the greatest feeling of all. How can I be in the way of such pure bliss? Though it may hurt me deeply, I would still be happy knowing you get the love and happiness you deserved.

I Think I'll Stop..

S.T.O.P

A four letter word that means putting an end to something; a four letter word that I think I should start using; a four letter word that could mean something new, something fresh, something unexpected - maybe a word that spells "BEGINNING".

When it comes to this point, you can do nothing but to STOP and call it a day. You fought a good fight, but in the end - it doesn't even matter, you had to fall and lose it all.

Tho in the end all you could do it to STOP and STARE - always hold you head up high.

Keep your chin up young one...

Another Addiction

These past few days I've been listening to songs by Michael Buble from his new album - Crazy Love. I can't get enough of two of his songs from that album - Hold On and Crazy Love. If I got my facts right, the song Crazy Love was written and sang by Van Morrison and was released as a single in 1970. It's one of my favourite songs by Van Morrison, and when I heard it being sung by Michael Buble, I fell in love with the song all over again. The song Hold On has beautiful lyrics and I just can't help feeling like it has a personal meaning to me..

Both of the songs make me think of someone.. and I'm dedicating these songs to you..

Didn't they always say we were the lucky ones?
I guess that we were once

Babe, we were once

But luck will leave you cause
it is a faithless friend
And in the end when life has got you down

You've got someone here that you can wrap your arms around

So hold on to me tight

Hold on to me tonight

We are stronger here together

Than we could ever be alone

So hold on to me

Don't you ever let me go

There's a thousand ways for things to fall apart

But it's no one's fault No it's not my fault
Maybe all the plans we made would not work out

But I have no doubt even though it's hard to see

I've got faith in us and I believe in you and me

So hold on to me tight

Hold on, I promise it'll be alright

'Cause it's you and me together

And baby all we've got is time

So hold on to me, hold on to me tonight

There's so many dreams that we have given up

Take a look at all we've got

And with this kind of love

What we've got here is enough

So hold on to me tight

Hold on, I promise it'll be alright

'Cause we are stronger here together

Then we could ever be alone

Just hold on to me

Don't you ever let me go

Hold on to me, it's gonna be alright

Hold on to me tonight

They always say we were the lucky ones

I can hear her heart beat for a thousand miles
And the heavens open every time she smiles
And when I come to her that's where I belong
Yet I'm running to her like a rivers song

She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love

She's got a fine sense of humor when I'm feeling low down
And when I come to her when the sun goes down
Takes away my trouble, takes away my grief
Takes away my heartache, in the night like a thief

She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love
(Love, love, love, love, crazy love)
She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love

Yes I need her in the daytime
Oh but I need her in the night
Yes I want to throw my arms around her
Kiss her hug her kiss her hug her tight

And when I'm returning from so far away
She gives me some sweet lovin brighten up my day
Yes it makes me righteous, yes it makes me feel whole
Yes it makes me mellow down in to my soul

She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love
I need her love, love, love, love, crazy love
Crazy love, crazy love, crazy love

When Fun Turned Into Addiction and Obssession

Last week or so while window shopping my friend and I saw a small clearance sale and we thought of dropping by a while to see what are the things on sale.. Then while browsing around, we saw a board game, and we thought it might be fun to play it at home, it was a Monopoly board game.

We played that night and after how many years of not playing it, both of us has forgotten the rules, the dos and donts of the game..but what the heck, we continued on playing like how we remembered it.

After playing it a few times, the next day we finally agreed to look up how the game is played with the correct rule applied. My friend came across a website on Monopoly and it turned out that you can play it online in this website.

I was easier to play since all we need to do was wait for our turn and click, click,click.. I can't get enough of it and I continued playing it all day for 4 days straight! Well, I ate and bathe of course, but most of the time, I was in front of my laptop clicking and clicking, playing Monopoly. I could never have imagined to be addicted to this game. *sigh*

But after playing it online for so long, I kinda miss playing it on the board game.. to have the real feeling of buying and trading. And of course, playing it on the board game with friends means you can laugh and argue with your friends - which I think makes it more fun and interesting.

I think I'll pull out the board tonight, and play with friends instead...

i.e or e.g???

While browsing and surfing the net, I came across a rather interesting article on how people always misuse the abbreviation 'i.e' and also 'e.g'. Truth be told, I was once amongst those who could not differentiate those two abbreviate.

i.e (id est) means 'that is' while e.g (exempli gratia) means 'for the sake of example'. A simpler way to remember both terms is by remembering them as :
  • 'i.e.' stands for 'in essence' or 'in other words' and 'e.g.' stands for 'example given'.
Now, in a sentence, one must be very careful in using the abbreviates as to not mislead the meaning of the sentence. As a rule of thumb, 'i.e' is used to paraphrase or to make a statement while 'e.g' is used to give more examples. Below is an example on how to use both abbreviation correctly.
  • The elephant is a pachyderm, i.e., an animal with thick skin and nails resembling hooves.
  • Buy some vegetables, e.g., carrots, lettuce,tomatoes.
The above examples clearly show that both abbreviation differs and they give different meanings to a sentence.

Happy Deepavali~

A happy belated Deepavali to my family and friends who are celebrating!!

Since it was a public holiday, my friend and I decided to go out and maybe get a feel of Deepavali in the air. We drove to Berjaya Times Square and the traffic was slow, which took us about 40 minutes to reach our destination. It was a different scene all together - driving during Hari Raya and during Deepavali. Going to the city during Hari Raya was way smoother and it took less time to reach. This is what I miss about Hari Raya; smooth traffic in the city~

When we reached Berjaya Times Square at about 12.30pm and our plan of watching Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs was cancelled due to the looooong line of people queuing to buy the tickets. So we ended up walking around to find some place to eat instead.

After having or tummy fuilled, we walked around and saw the biggest kolam ever. It's a one-man piece and it was done for the Malaysia Book of Records. But sadly I did not snap a picture of it, but I did snap a few of the other kolams exhibited there - the smaller ones, hehe..

All in all, it was a good Deepavali Day - minus the muruku, curry, iddiyappam, vadai, etc.. I miss all the Indian cooking my sister used to cook... Thinking of it now makes me hungry..

No Muslims at Malaysia Black Eyed Peas concert

The above was the title that caught my attention while browsing through the web this morning. The concert is a part of celebrations of Guinness 250th birthday and is sponsored by Guinness. The ban was due to the moves against beer sales by the opposition Islamic party, PAS and also the sentence of a 32-year old Muslim woman to be caned after being caught drinking beer in a hotel by Malaysian Islamic court.

It's funny how these kind of measurements were taken to the extreme by these group of people. Quoting the news above, "Even without alcohol, foreign bands are subject to scrutiny. Earlier this week, the Pan Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) said it wanted Danish band Michael Learns to Rock banned from performing as it would cause immorality.

Since 2007, PAS, the country's second largest political group measured by party membership, has campaigned against performances by the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Gwen Stefani and Avril Lavigne."

What are they really afraid of anyway? What is it that makes them so paranoid till they want to ban foreign singers from performing in Malaysia? Would it bring good moral conducts to the people by banning these performances? In what sense does the performances cause immorality? The clothing? The dancing? The songs? Well, they might as well ban all the MTV's and V channel on astro then, since the video clips are more obscene than on the concert itself.

It all comes down to personal choices. Regardless of any religion, all religion teaches good moral conducts. None teaches us to steal, or to kill, or to get drunk, or to fornicate, or to do all the bad things onto yourself or others. But why do all the things above being practiced without even the slightest guilt? It's a matter of choices. God gave us the freedom to choose from good and bad. What good would it be if He created us without giving us the freedom? We would be like robots, programed to do whatever He wants, never knowing the reason we do it, never knowing the meaning of it, and never appreciate it.

So, the question is.. Who are we, as human beings, have the right to take that freedom from his fellow human beings? Are we more than God, that we have the right to impose such ban in order to stop people from engaging any immorality activities? Even if such ban are executed, will it stop immoral activities? Who are we to judge what is good and bad, when we ourselves are imperfect?

It all comes down to personal choices, and that choices will be judged by God in the end, not us human beings.

A Long Week Ahead

I can feel that this week will pass slowly - a long and weary week..

I wanted to give you a proper goodbye,
I wish I could hug you before you go.
All I could do was to drop by,
and hold my feelings seeing you go.

I wish I could tell you that I'll miss you,
and how hard it is for me to see you go.
I wish I could reach out to you,
and hold you dearly - never to let go.

This week will be a long week,
being here with you being there.
Thinking of it make my heart goes weak,
a feeling it can hardly bear.

But please, if you may,
bring a part of me where ever you are,
for it will surely make my day,
to know that I am where you are.
And if it's not too much for me to say,
I wish for you to know that I am not that far,
and I'll be loving you every passing day...

This week will be a long week...

I MISS YOU!!!!!
