Spain vs Nedherlands Prediction

Tomorrow (July 12, 2.30 a.m. Malaysian time) will be the time where people from all over the world would sit in front of their telly to watch the final match of the World Cup 2010. It can be seen that Spain is the favourite team in this match. Even the so-called octopus psychic predicted the Spaniards would win the World cup.

So far, I watched few of the videos on how the octopus predict the next upcoming match - it always goes to the nearest box. If it is on the right side of the aquarium, it'll pick the box on the right. That's all I'm saying, I'm a bit skeptical on this matter. hurm~~

Anyways, it seems like after the wide-spread news on this psychic octopus, many people claimed that their pet could predict the match as well! Another wide spread news on a psychic pet comes from a neigbouring country - Singapore. The owner claimed that like the octopus, his parakeet predicted that Spain would win the semi-final match against Germany.

What is interesting tho, is that for the final match, while the octopus predicted the Spaniards, the parakeet predicted the Dutch to win the World Cup! This is a match I gotta watch with eyes wide open through out the game.

The bird or the octopus? We'll see it tomorrow - who has the better psychic powers.

The final match between Spain and Netherlands was indeed a game that no one should have missed. Was is fated that the Netherlands were to lose on this match? Although there were many incredible chances for the Netherlands to score a goal or two, it just seemed that despite how hard they tried, it was not meant to be.

The last minute goal by Iniesta (116' a.e.t) was indeed incredible. It happened at the right moment where everyone expected there will be penalty kicks, but instead a sure victory for the Spaniard that left no time for the Dutch to even the score. It was a perfect timing.

I am happy that for once Spain won a World Cup title and they deserved it! And it's hard to say this but here goes - Paul the Octopus was correct. Sigh.
