Argentina vs Germany

Germany sure kicked those English asses in yesterday's match. Those Englishmen didn't have the chance from the start, going against a team like GERMANY! Germany is one of my favourite team in the FIFA World Cup. Tho many of my friends don't like this team, I find them really inspiring, they way they play and their confidence.

The Argentina vs Mexico match was somehow predictable, there was no way Argentina gonna lose this match. This team is my current favourite. I like Argentina only starting from this World Cup. If you asked me who's playing for Argentina before the World Cup, I can only name Messi (because I saw him in the Astro commercials =__=).

Anyhoo, both of these super teams are gonna meet in the next match which is on the 3rd of July (10 p.m. Malaysian time). I can't wait to watch the match. If I have to choose between both teams, I would probably go with Argentina.

Go Argentina!

3 minutes into the game, and Germany scored! Tho Germany is one of my favourite team, in this match I am hoping that the Argentinians will win! I'm at the edge of my seat watching this match.

The Argentinians had 55% possession of the ball as of the 1st half, and they had many opportunities to even the score, but the German's defense was just too good! I think I might get a heart attack watching this match!

Ah~~ I just died when the Argentinian's goal was offside.

No more score from Germans please!!

._. Half time now ._.

The 2nd half of the game proved to be more nail-biting then it was in the 1st half. I'm still hoping that the Argentinians will even the score.

Oh no.. My Klose scored (68').. 2 for Germany. I'm torn apart.. ah~~

Ah~ one more score for the Germans by Friedrich (74')

Another score from my Klose (89')

Another goodbye to a team I hoped to win. Disappointed for two days in a row. Lucky for me I did not bet on this match. I sure would have bet for the Argentinians..

Spain vs Paraguay? Think I'll sleep on this one

Nelson - Cross My Broken Heart (Lyrics)

I suddenly thought of this song. A song 'bout a love gone wrong and the guy is lying by telling the girl he'll be fine and he never really loved her, but the truth is he is hurting inside with a broken heart.

It's a good day for a sad song, 'cause the rain is falling and someone is saying good-bye~
Close the door when you leave, 'cause there's a cold wind blowing and it's bringing tears to my eyes~

Ah, this song still gives me goosebumps. I first heard it 13 years ago when the Nelson were at their prime. I used to listen to the song over and over where I'll rewind the cassette over and over till I memorized the the perfect time to stop for the song to be played.

It's a good day for a sad song
'Cause the rain is fallin' and someone is saying Good-bye
Close the door when you leave
'Cause there's a cold wind blowin' and it's bringin' tears to my eyes
After you go, I guess I'll never know where you've run
Will you try to disguise how you're dyin inside?
Well, then you'll be the only one

Chorus:
Oh, I will get over you someday
Though, I never loved you anyway
And when you're gone my whole world won't fall apart
I swear, cross my broken heart

Word gets 'round in this small talk town
But I'll stand my ground and I won't even ask where you've gone to
When they play a song 'bout a love gone wrong
And you see me cryin', well, that don't mean I miss you
When I said I was crazy for you I was out of my mind
When the smokes clears I'll see it was not meant to be
Yeah, I will be just fine

Repeat Chorus

By the second Tuesday of never I promise
That I will be just fine
Oh, yes, I will

Repeat Chorus

Portugal vs Brazil

Tonight will be THE match!

Portugal vs Brazil - I wonder how will this match end.

With Kaka on the bench tonight, can Brazil win the match? Brazil's match with Korea DPR ended with 2-1 score, while Portugal's match with Korea DPR a week later resulted in a 7-0 score. Will Christiano Ronaldo get his second goal in the FIFA 2010 against the Brazilian team? Will the Brazilian team pull out a trick in this match to surprise us all?

I just can't wait for tonight's match!

12 hours to go!

___________u.p.d.a.t.e___________

I must say, this was not the game that I've been anticipating on. I was quite disappointed to watch that many chances were missed in this match. And I don't understand what's with all the yellow cards during the 1st half? A total of 7 yellow cards in the 1st half. Surprisingly, no yellow cards were given in the 2nd half. I'm not sure what is wrong with the referee.

As the game entered the 2nd half, I was too tired to watch. No goals, no surprises.. *yawnnn*

FINAL SCORE:
Portugal 0 Brazil 0

All in all, I'm glad both team managed to enter Round 16.

Hopefully Spain's match with Chile will be much better than this one. Looking forward to Spain!!!

To go back or not to go back

I still can't decide as to go back home or not. Sure I miss home, but I can't rest at home. I can picture the scenes at home when I'm there. Arrrghh!

6am in the morning, endless knock on the door

'Bangun! Pukul brapa sudah ni? Pi jamur tu kain'

10 minutes later, another knock with a different voice.

'Posik di gia, doungadau nodi tii'

Whaaaat? only 6.10 am and you're saying it's afternoon already???

Ahh... and this goes on till it's finally afternoon. I know, I can be awarded as the worst child a parent could have, but for me, going home means I can rest at home. No cooking, no laundry, no work.. But from my parents, when I come back, it's their rest time. No cooking, no laundry, no house chores.

sigh..

But things are different when my other siblings goes back home. They are treated like guests at home. Everything is ready. No naggings on waking up or do house chores. No things like 'ngozo sumado ie tasu', 'vacuum the house', 'hopizo ie kain ngavi', etc.

sigh..

Still thinking, to go back or not...

Sarah McLachlan - Do What You Have To Do (Lyrics)

Another great singer that always has the right lyrics to sing. I love the way she sings this song, no other singer can do it better than her.

I'm ever swiftly moving trying to escape this desire,
the yearning to be near you..
I do what I have to do..
The yearning to be with you..

A glowing ember - burning hot, burning slow.
Deep within I'm shaken by the violence
of existing only for YOU.

The lyrics says more than enough of what and how I am feeling..

I'm sorry I can't be...

As much as I hate to admit it, I'm no where near to being the person that's right for you.

I'm sorry that I can't be the one to put a smile on your face,
I'm sorry that I can't be the one whom you want to embrace,
I'm sorry that I can't be the person that you love,
I'm sorry, but I've lost all hope.

Love.Hope. and Faith.

I have loved,
but I've lost and ran out of it.
I hoped,
only to be crushed and broken.
Faith - I've lost it along the way,
and now I'm aimlessly wandering,
to an end that has long passed me.

Portugal vs Korea DPR

This is the most amazing game in the FIFA 2010 so far!

I nearly fell asleep watching it during the first half, but come second half, I was sitting at the edge of my seat watching Portugal had their goal frenzy! After assisting few goals and few attempts, Ronaldo finally scored his first goal in the FIFA 2010.

Go Portugal!

Can't wait to watch Portugal vs Brazil!

Final Score:
Portugal 7 Korea DPR 0

Portugal vs Cote D'Ivoire

This was one of the matches I've been anticipating to watch.

The match for me was tiring, with Cote D'Ivoire on the attacking side while Portugal was more on defensive side. I was really looking forward for the Portugal team to attack and score at least 2 goals. But throughout the game, it can be seen that the Cote D'Ivoire was really attacking with all they have and their defense was tremendous too.

Final Score
Portugal 0 ; Cote D'Ivoire 0

I'm looking forward for the next game, Brazil vs Korea DPR. I don't know what to expect, but I'm hoping Brazil will score just like the German team did.

BRAZIL!!

Japan vs Cameroon

It is currently the half time of the game. Japan scored 1 goal through Honda, it was a a smooth goal indeed. Throughout the first-half, Japan seemed really defensive whenever Cameroon is on the Japan's side of the field. After scoring the first goal, Japan seemed more pumped up and confident.

The second half has began.

9 minutes after the second half, Cameroon had a really great opportunity to even the score. It seems like in the second half, Cameroon is taking every opportunity to even the score. The game seems more tight in the second half, so far few attempts were made by Cameroon to get a tie score.

I hope Japan would score another 1 goal. Go Japaaaaaaaaaaan!!!

Final Score
Japan 1 Cameroon 0

*sigh* another bet lost...

Germany vs Australia

Yet another match to tune in to.

Germany has been a favourite of mine since I first watch the World Cup, that was like 8 years ago. Amongst my favourites were Michael Ballack, Miroslav Klose and Oliver Kahn.

But this year, only one of my favourites will be in the German squad - Miroslav Klose. I hope he won't disappoint me..

Go Germany Go!!

*update

Woohoo!! Germany won 4-0 over the Australian squad early this morning. My Klose did not disappoint me it seems. But still, I didn't won any bets this time since I didn't get the scores right.

*sigh*

England vs USA

Ah, the match that everyone has been anticipated on in Group C of the World Cup - England vs USA.

My friends and I were all in the same team, England. And since we all chose England, we bet amongst ourselves how many goals will England score. I wanted to watch the match but my eyes were too heavy. I woke up at 4 am and my friend told me;

"England scored 1 goal!"

I was like, "Whaaaaat? I won the bet??!"

"Yeah.. Ugh.."

Hahahhaah, I continued sleeping with smiles on my face thinking 'bout the money I won. Hahaha..

Will I

Will I be strong enough to go through with it?

Will I be able to pull it through this time... Or will I freak out at the last moment..

I have decided.. yes... I have, finally..

South Africa vs Mexico

Ah, the World Cup has started, with the opening game - South Africa vs Mexico.

Before the game started, I made a bet with my friends, I bet South Africa would win the match. I only started watching the match few minutes before half time after I got off from work. That time both team haven't scored any goals yet.

I was at the edge of my seat watching the match 'cause Mexico looked strong and they were attacking more times than South Africa was. When South Africa scored its first goal, I was over excited and felt relieved.

Then, the unexpected thing happened - Mexico scored a tie goal.

*sigh*

I'm hoping France will win in the next match. I want to watch, but I'm bushed.. I hope I'll be able to wake up 2.30 a.m. today... =_=

Hypothesis Proven True

Phone rang:

"Where are you?"
"At lab working"
"Oh.. What time you go back?"
"Er.. around 4 or 5.."
"Oh.. 4 or 5... ok ok"

30 minutes later...

Phone rang (again):

"Where are you? What time you go back today?"
"Still at lab. Maybe 4 or 5"
"Ooo.. Still at lab aa?"

(Phone rang for countless time after)

WTF??

I think there is something terribly wrong with the caller. With this, I can confirm my hypothesis is TRUE, that this person (b.i.t.c.h) has a minute size of brain. Why the hell does she needs to call every freaking minute to ask the same question over and over again?

Isn't the first time clear enough? She knows that working hours is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., what's with the calling and asking the same stupid question - over and over????

AND

If a person doesn't answer your call once, it means that the person is busy doing work or was not able to attend to the phone at that moment. With that, you don't need to keep calling endlessly! There's a function in your phone that enables you to send messages to the person you want to call. Leave a message and that person will get back to you when she is free!

I am so irritated with people like this. But that was only half of what she did today. Another half was how she kept on asking and pestering my poor roommate to go back home and give her the phone number of a contractor she wants to call that she left at home.

WTF??

Who the hell she thinks she is? She's on her day off and yet she ask someone who is working and doing lab work to go all the way back home, get that number and give her the number then go back to lab again??
Why can't you call that boyfriend of yours who was also working that time to send you back home so you can get the number, and he can go back to work after that, since you don't mind asking people who are at work to do things for you.

Lucky she dare not do that to me, if she did, I'll give her a piece of my shit! Better yet, a whole pot of my shit for all I care!

Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough

Suddenly this song came to mind. I have always loved this song since I heard Patty Symth sang this song.

This version is sung by Stephanie Sun, my current favourite Chinese singer from Singapore. I love her version of this song too.

The lyrics are deep and somehow I could relate to it; the feeling of the singer and what is she going through.

*sigh*

Ah~ yes, Yan Zi, sometimes love just ain't enough...

This is a story of a b.i.t.c.h

I'm about to explode!

"Wah, I was so bored the whole day. All I did was sleep and did nothing. "

Ugh, I hate that bitch! If you were bored and had nothing to do, you could at least clean the house that you never clean, wash the dishes that you used and placed in the sink, or better yet, clean the toilet that you always left your shit in!

You complained about your friend who stayed with you last time that she never cleaned the house, never cleaned the toilet, switch on the air-conditioner 24/7 and used the things you bought. I pitied you when I heard your story and I was glad that you moved in 'cause from what I heard, you are particular about cleanliness and does not waste electricity on air-conditioners and things like that.

But from what I see, after half a year staying with you, you never cleaned the house although you made the mess, you never cleaned up after you cook, you leave you leftover food that you know you wont eat anymore on the kitchen counter, switch on two air-conditioners full blast at one time and use the things I bought for my own consumption!

And worst, you leave your shit in the toilet bowl and does nothing about it!

After someone shitted, it is a norm to make sure that no shit were left in the bowl. But I guess norm for you is to see how much shit you can accumulate in the bowl.

And I'm not as rich as you, where you can simply take out 10K from your account to buy what ever things you want. And even if you do not take out the 10K, there are people willing to take out their money to buy what ever things you want. Since I'm not that rich, even little and non-expensive things are considered expensive for me.

I know that you use 1 scoop or at most 2 scoops of my detergent, I know for most people it's not much considering you only use it twice a week; but adding salt to injury, with that non-functioning minute brain of yours, your hang your wet clothes in between all my dried clothes! For goodness sake, can't you at least push my dried clothes to one side and the hang up your wet clothes at the other side? Because of that brain of yours, my clothes became wet and stinks! At least when you weren't at home and I need to hang my clothes, I would push yours aside or put it in that filthy room of yours that you never cleaned!

And don't think everybody is like you. Doesn't mean you never clean the house, I never too. Everytime I'm at home I will clean the house and if I have time, I'll clean the bathroom too. And for you to walk about the living room with your dirty sandals that you wore to goodness knows where and make a mess in the toilet is simply beyond acceptable!

I hate that I need to tell you everything, from cleaning your shit to not to wear your dirty sandals in the house. You're all grown up, you should be able to think and I don't think I could stand it any longer. If I need to tell you one more thing face to face, that would be the time where you will see me explode totally!

I can't wait for you to move out of my life, bitch!

Roald Dahl Books

I have always enjoyed reading good books regardless the genre. I can read books about politics, religious stuffs, mysteries, fictions, well just about anything actually as long as the first few paragraphs of the book is an attention catcher.

I could never bring myself to read a book with a lousy and boring introduction. For me, introduction is the vital part of any books or stories. It is where the readers get the first impression of the book.

An author that never fails to get my attention on his first few paragraph is Roald Dahl. He has a unique way or writing and it keeps you wanting to read more until without realizing, you are at the end of the book.

I've been his fan ever since I first read his book 'The Witches' which was about 12 years ago. Since I do not have money to buy his books then, I used to go to the library and borrow the books. But the collections were limited.

I started collecting Roald Dahl's books when I received my first scholarship. I went to the bookstore and saw a collection of Roald Dahl's books. I couldn't help myself. I bought six of his books that very same day; Mathilda, James and the Giant Peach, The BFG, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Danny, the Champion of the World and The Witches.

Not long after I added my collections by buying some more of his books; The Twits, Roald Dahl: Collected Stories, Henry Sugar, My Uncle Oswald and more.

I wish to have a library with one corner filled with collections by Roald Dahl. I can read his books over and over again and never get bored. I especially like his revolting rhymes. That would indeed make a great bed time story if I have children one day, hahaahha.

Shakira feat. Freshlyground - Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) with lyrics

Tsamina mina eh eh
Waka waka eh eh
Tsamina mina zangalewa
Anawa aa
Tsamina mina eh eh
Waka waka eh eh
Tsamina mina zangalewa
This time for Africa~

I can't get enough of this song! Another great song by my ever favourite singer, Shakira~ This is the official song for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2010 . Can't wait for the game to start. It would be just like the old days, sipping cups of coffee watching the game and waking up with swollen eyes and sleeping in class. Ah....

Lyrics

You’re a good soldier
Choosing your battles
Pick yourself up
And dust yourself off
Get back in the saddle
You’re on the front line
Everyone’s watching
You know it’s serious
We’re getting closer
This isn’t over

The pressure’s on; you feel it
But you got it all; believe it
When you fall, get up, oh oh
And if you fall, get up, eh eh
Tsamina mina zangalewa
Cause this is Africa
Tsamina mina eh eh
Waka waka eh eh
Tsamina mina zangalewa
This time for Africa

Listen to your god; this is our motto
Your time to shine
Don’t wait in line
Y vamos por todo
People are raising their expectations
Go on and feed 'em
This is your moment
No hesitation

Today’s your day
I feel it
You paved the way,
Believe it
If you get down
Get up oh, oh
When you get down,
Get up eh, eh

Tsamina mina zangalewa
This time for Africa
Tsamina mina eh eh
Waka waka eh eh
Tsamina mina zangalewa
Anawa aa
Tsamina mina eh eh
Waka waka eh eh
Tsamina mina zangalewa
This time for Africa

Back To School

It's been a while since I studied for anything.

Now I need to study back what I have learned ages ago. Gawd!!

Just thinking about it makes me hungry and sleepy. Again, I wish I'm a 5000-year-old vampire with a very good memory and can speed-read.

Then again, if I were, I wouldn't have to do this in the first place.

*Sigh*

A Two-Year-Old boy smoking?? 40 Cigarettes A Day??

What a horrid thing to see - A two-year-old boy smoking himself to death with 40 cigarettes a day!

I couldn't understand what sort of parents would let this thing to happen to their two-year-old baby. I know it is not my place to judge on people's parenting method, but it disgust me to see how the parents are all smiles looking at their two-year-old smoking himself to death.

And any sane parents would know that with that weight and smoking addiction on a two-year-old, something is terribly wrong. But yet these parents insisted that the child is healthy. I am stupefied by that stupid statement made by the father.

Poor lil' guy. The parents should be jailed for goodness sake with charges of child abuse and negligence of a child's need for nourishment.

UGH.
